PRAYER WARRIORS INTERNATIONAL

With members in Barbados, the Caribbean and North America Prayer Warriors International is an interdenom- inational group of faith believers and caters to the religious and self development of persons, who need physical, mental and spiritual stimulation and/or help.

PRAYER PROGRAMME

During May 2004, Prayer Warriors International organized it's first  prayer seminar in Barbados at the Combermere auditorium.
The two feature speakers were the Speaker of the House of Assembly, the Rt. Hon Ishmael Roett, and Mr. John Workman, an attorney, who both shared their miraculous experience of healing when Warriors prayed.

CUSTOMER RELATIONS

Barbados is a tourist destination and emphasis has to be on Quality Service. We anticipate and prepare for world cup 2007 where free exposure to a worldwide tourist market will be of enormous benefits. Our contribution will be in customer relations. We are blessed with professional/trainers in customer relations: and the venues for training will be at community/centers/schools and churches. We conduct church growth and prayer seminars.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Born to Phyllis and Leo, now deceased, Courtney is a father of two children, Steve and Janine. He was educated at St. Augustine's Boys, Barbados Academy (Rudder) and the Modern High School.
He was an insurance executive in his early life and set three goals: to own his business, to own a Mercedes Car and to play cricket for Barbados. When his father encouraged him to join Empire club, an elite organization, and in spite of the negative attitude of his good friend, who told him: ¡§Sure! You can take out the water cart.¡¨ He not only achieved all his goals, but years later became captain of Empire cricket team. At twenty years of age, in 1965, under the captaincy of Everton Weekes, now Sir Everton he played for the Barbados colts cricket team against Bobby Simpson's Australia Team and organized the first international night cricket game in Barbados and returned in the early seventies to play cricket for Barbados against England, Bermuda, Australia and other countries. He was very successful as a salesman and created a record when he sold one
hundred and twenty five policies in a week in Dominica. He worked in Antigua, St. Kitts, Montserrat, St. Croix, and St. Thomas for the same insurance company.

In Barbados he owned his own business, but because of its capital intensive nature it was hard to maintain. Later he moved to the USA. In New York he owned a trucking business and worked as a marketing specialist for one of the leading health providers. He was President and responsible for forty evangelical churches in Brooklyn and Staten Island; a volunteer auxiliary police officer for the city of New York he ran a prison ministry and a programme for the needy and homeless that fed, physically and spiritually, over two hundred persons weekly. Courtney spearheaded and personally financed - BDS$6,000.00 ¡V for pray books, which a team of young people gave out during the 2003 England tour to Barbados. He organized the first Caribbean day of Prayer on March 4th 2004, he theme of which was "March Forth on Your Knees in Prayer" and on that day received the blessing and support of a number of Prime Ministers, Ministers of the Gospel and Principals of schools in the Caribbean and North America.
